Obituary of Sharen Ann Troup Miller

Sharen Ann Troup Miller, 73, passed away peacefully Friday, April 27, 2018 at her home.

Born on April 19, 1945, in Harrisburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late John Henry Troup and the late Rosanna Vera Hammond Troup. Ms. Miller was a member of Sampit United Methodist Church and enjoyed being a caregiver for others and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her companion, Wayne Elliott of Georgetown; four children, Pam Todd (Henry Earl) of Georgetown, Phillip Eugene Miller, Jr. of Georgetown, Janell Lee Halsey (William) of Westminster, MD and Travis Alan Miller (Danielle) of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren, Brandon Brenner, Alexis Todd, Rebecca Halsey, William Edward Halsey, III, Samantha Jo Garland-Avant, James Gore, Katie Gore, Sarah Gore and Cailey Ann Miller; three great grandchildren, Bradley Brenner, Colten Avant and Bella Jo Avant; one sister, Linda Lou Bisker (Gene Wolf) of New Freedom, PA; three half brothers, John Troup (Eva), Gary Troup (Barb), Rodney Troup (Lynn) all of Pennsylvania and one half sister, Terri Oren (Jack) of Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bobbi Jo Gore; one brother, George Troup and one half brother, Herb Troup.

A graveside service will be held at 4 PM Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the Sampit United Methodist Church Cemetery.
