Frances, my precious friend, I was deeply saddened by the passing of Themos. I know you, the girls and grandchildren are feeling that loss even deeper than us. Just know each of you are in my thoughts and prayers and will remain there in the days to come. This world lost a bright and shining star when Themos stepped into the arms of our Lord and I know without a doubt that he heard the words we all long to hear, “Well done, my good and faithful servant. Welcome home.” Your family has always been a special part of my life. I clearly remember sitting in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and listening to all of you singing. You at the piano telling the girls to sing loudly and clearly. Then Themos would deliver the sermon that the Lord had laid upon his heart. Homecomings were always extra special when we knew y’all were coming home. There are just so many wonderful memories of your family intertwined with ours and I will hold on to them for as long as GOD allows me to. Your family has touched the lives of so many though out the years and all that knew your family LOVED your family!!! I for one, am proud to have been blessed by you, Themos and the girls. I am blessed to call you my friend and am thankful for the time spent with you all. May our Lord surround you and yours in the peace and comfort that only HE can give in the difficult days ahead. With all my love, Kay
