Obituary of Hazel Jones Lee

Hazel Jones Lee, 83, widow of Glenn Lee, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at her home.

Born on August 8, 1934, in Horry County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Jones and the late Mary Richardson Jones. Mrs. Lee attended New Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church and enjoyed playing the guitar, writing music, singing, sewing and cooking.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Jernigan Robinette of Nesmith; three grandchildren, Chris Walker (Melissa) of Georgetown, David Wilson (Catherine) of Georgetown and Sherry Walker of Georgetown; eight great grandchildren, Shaina, Madison, Gavin, Maddox, Claire, Sunny, Blakely and Braxton; one sister, Lila Cherry of Georgetown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Oscar Jernigan; a daughter, Susan Wilson; three brothers; and five sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Friday, November 24, 2017 at Rock Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Mark Wilson officiating.
