Obituary of Cynthia Maurice Johnson

Cynthia Maurice “Cindy” Johnson, 58, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Born on September 16, 1956, in Georgetown, she was the daughter of Helen Elizabeth Richburg Johnson and the late Jimmie A. Johnson. Cindy was a member of Grace Church at First Baptist Church and enjoyed singing and swimming. Cindy enjoyed life and was always happy. Survivors include her mother of Georgetown; two brothers, Al Johnson (Wanda) of Georgetown and Ray Johnson (Sandra) of Georgetown; one nephew, Josh Johnson (Kara) of Columbia; two nieces, Rebekah Johnson of Georgetown and Bridget Johnson of San Diego, CA; one great nephew; and two great nieces. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 31, 2014 in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the graveside.
